Prompt Diff compares two local text inputs with the shared Mini Tools diff engine. Select character, word, or line granularity and switch between inline and side-by-side views to inspect additions, deletions, unchanged units, and deltas.
Questions & answers
- What do the addition and deletion metrics count?
- They count the selected comparison units; word mode excludes whitespace-only tokens from the metrics.
- Is the token delta exact?
- No. The token delta is clearly labelled as an estimate and uses the local token-estimation profiles.
- Are my prompts uploaded?
- No. Comparison and token estimation run entirely in your browser without a network request.
