About PaperSearch

PaperSearch is a free, multilingual reference site for scholarly publications. It lets researchers, students, and editors look up basic information about academic journals and international conferences in one place — no account and no paywall.

What you can search

How it works

The curated entries ship inside the page as static JSON. The larger journal index is a static file on this same site, fetched once the first time you search — no other service is ever contacted. Matching runs entirely in your browser, so your query never leaves it. The pages do load third-party scripts; the Privacy page linked above says which ones and what they collect.

Languages

The interface is available in English, Japanese (日本語), Spanish (Español), Simplified Chinese (简体中文), and German (Deutsch).

Data sources & accuracy

Entries are compiled from publicly available publisher pages and ranking sources. Values are snapshots and may be out of date, and not every entry carries every field — Impact Factor, h-index and acceptance rate appear only where a public source gave one. Most entries link to the publisher's or the source's page; where an entry has no link, look the title up by its ISSN, or search for it on the publisher's own site or in a library catalogue.

Bug reports and data corrections are welcome via the Contact page.
