Find every table in pasted HTML, pick the one you want, and export it as CSV, TSV, JSON, Markdown, SQL or an ASCII table.

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded.

About this tool

Paste the HTML of a page, or drop an .html file, and every <table> in it is listed with its row and column count. Pick one, preview it, and export it in the format you need. Header cells are recognised from <th>, entities are decoded, inline tags are stripped to their text, and a colspan is expanded into blank cells so the remaining columns stay aligned. The markup is only ever read as text — it is never inserted into this page, so pasting a page that contains scripts is safe.

Questions & answers

How do I get a table off a web page?
Open the page, view its source or use your browser's Inspect panel, copy the markup that contains the table, and paste it here. You can also save the page as .html and drop the file onto the input.
The page has several tables — how do I choose?
Every table found is listed with its row and column count, and the preview shows the first rows of whichever one is selected. Layout tables are usually the ones with a single row or column, so the shape tells you which is the real data.
Is it safe to paste HTML that contains scripts?
Yes. The markup is scanned as plain text and is never added to this page, so nothing in it can run. Only the cell text is kept.
Why are some cells empty after conversion?
A cell that spanned several columns is expanded into one filled cell plus blanks, which keeps the following columns lined up. Cells spanning several rows are not repeated downwards, so they appear only in their first row.
