LaTeX Table Generator
Turn CSV or TSV into a LaTeX table with booktabs, a caption and per-column alignment.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded.
About this tool
Paste CSV or TSV and get a ready-to-use tabular. Choose the alignment of each column, add a caption and label, pick booktabs rules or classic lines, and wrap it in a table or table* float. Cells are escaped by default, with an explicit option to keep raw LaTeX in a cell.
Questions & answers
- Can I put LaTeX inside a cell?
- Yes — turn off cell escaping. With escaping on, characters such as % and _ are escaped so the table compiles, and math spans are still left intact.
- What is the difference between booktabs and rules?
- Booktabs draws \toprule, \midrule and \bottomrule with no vertical lines, which is the convention in most journals. Rules draws the classic grid with \hline and vertical bars.
- Why is my table too wide?
- Turn on resizebox to scale it to the text width, or shorten the cell contents. The tool cannot know your page geometry.
